Your photos and data

Privacy

Your photos stay local

The desktop app reads photos only on your computer. It does not upload images, file names or folder paths. The demo uses only the eight sample photos hosted with the site.

Sign-in and licensing

Google authenticates your account. Our license database does not request or store passwords, card numbers, names, emails or avatars. Google is requested with the openid scope only. Profile fields and provider tokens are discarded after verification.

A derived pseudonymous identifier, Stripe payment references, license status and a random installation identifier allow activation on two PCs. These are still personal data under the GDPR, not anonymous data. They support contract performance and activation security, with no advertising or profiling.

Optional waiting list

With your explicit consent, a private list separate from the license database stores your email, optional message, language and consent date. It is used for one Photo Sorting Pro availability announcement and a reply if requested in your message. No newsletter subscription or sharing between apps. Cloudflare D1 stores this list in the European Union. It is deleted after at most 180 days (daily cleanup), or upon unsubscription. Withdraw consent using the link supplied after registration and in the announcement, or through support. A non-reversible IP fingerprint, kept for two hours, limits abuse based on legitimate security interests. No confirmation email is sent automatically.

Payment with Stripe

Stripe hosts payment, collects the required billing information and supplies receipts under its own policy. These details are not copied into our license database. The seller still has accounting and data-protection obligations. No automatic marketing emails. Stripe Privacy.

Support and confirmations

Your payment email is retrieved from Stripe only when sending confirmations via Resend; it is not copied into the license database. Support messages, app and Windows versions, and a pseudonymous account identifier are retained for at most 90 days to process your request, then deleted. Attachments are not accepted. Order references and contract confirmations remain subject to legal retention. The seller may retain email correspondence to handle your request and legal obligations. Resend Privacy.

Browsing and security

No advertising trackers are loaded. The publisher’s audience counts are described below. A language-preference cookie and strictly technical sign-in cookies are used. Activation tokens are protected locally by the operating-system vault. Hosts and providers may process IP addresses and security logs under their policies.

Audience counts

The publisher’s Cloudflare service counts public pages, country and broad referral source without stored IPs, search URLs, accounts, permanent identifiers or analytics cookies. An interaction on a visible page signals a probable human, without recording keys, field contents or coordinates. A random per-page code stays only in memory; server references expire after 30 minutes and are cleared at least hourly. Aggregate counters are kept for 90 days in a separate EU-jurisdiction D1 database. No cross-site or payment linkage. Minimal measurement relies on legitimate website-management interests, subject to your rights. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.

Retention and rights

Sign-in requests expire after 10 minutes, web sessions after one hour and activations without renewal after 30 days; cleanup every five minutes removes them. License references are kept while the license is used. Accounting records and required references remain subject to legal retention periods to be validated by the seller. Terence Diaz EI is the controller. Cloudflare hosts the website and service, Google authenticates, Stripe processes payments and Resend delivers confirmations. These providers may process data outside the EEA under their contractual transfer safeguards. Request deletion from the seller, subject to legally required records.
